Step 2: Lips

I have never been one to spend a lot of time on my makeup. I pretty much wakeup, throw on some mascara, maybe a bit of eyeliner, and head out the door.
For some school dance years ago, I had my makeup done and the artist put some red lipstick on me. Mommie Dearest bought it for me because it looked great, and it has sat in my makeup box ever since. Well, with my new style I decided I needed a new face, but one that is still low maintenance.
Red lips are a Coco Classic, and combined with my fair skin, the color really makes my blue eyes pop. The problem is finding a lipliner or lipstick that will stay put throughout the day. My Prescriptives liner is a fabulous flat red, and I put a light layer of Mac pink gloss (Underage) on top to give it some shin and volume. I use the Prescriptives red lipstick on top of the liner if I am going out to a nice restaurant, but both the lipstick and the liner smudge and run too easily for everyday use. So I went on a hunt and decided to try the Covergirl Outlast I keep seeing on TV. The applicator is basically a marker, and the color is nice. I bought the Wildberry Wink. It doesn’t run, but it will fade throughout the day as you eat or drink, though it will still leave a red tint. I top this one off with the gloss as well. It is my new go-to for lips, and I receive a lot of compliments on it.

(Poor quality picture, I know, but I will be in red lips in pretty much anything I post on here so many more opportunities to see :) ) The only makeup I have on here is the outlast and gloss, and Lancome Mascara and Undereye Concealer ( I have awful undereye cirlces and this is the best concealer I have found so far.)
